This site is my winterhome, a
refuge from a very bussy family with 6 children, most of
them with special needs. I'm very grateful for all
those lovely graphics, those little artworks that were
made available by the artists themselves and the
adoptionshoppe-owners who so gracefully share all this
beauty.

Hello!
Welcome in my wonderful
world of winter!
This year I moved to the site
when the first winterstorm raged around the house. In
the meantime we've celebrated our tradional Sinterklaas.
Unlike as
in some other countries we start preparing for Christmas after
Sinterklaas, so after december 6th. Many people don't
get a tree before a week for Christmas. So you can
see people from different countries have different
customs. If you have any questions about how we celebrate in The Netherlands, just ask me.
Like other years I'll write a christmasstory and you'll be able to enjoy
christmassy additions untill january the 6th, the day
the three kings arrive at the nativity scene.
This site is not complete, because it's a part of the original wintersite. I had to move these pages, because of bandwithproblems.
They'll go back to the other site in january.
The site consists out
of sections and several individual pages. And
ofcourse there are several layouts to choose when
reading my blog. Like always I work on my site
during the whole season, so you're welcomed back
often.
And now off you go: take a
sleighride, read some poetry, amaze yourself about
creativity in the adoptionssection and enjoy,
enjoy, enjoy!
Merry Christmas!!!!! |

Like other years the site is
mainly handcoded. I don't have much frames this year, but I do have some pages that have a horizontal layout. Just use the bottom scroller.
In case you're on a telephone connection and you
want the text of the site zipped, just let me know. I can also
arrange for a text only blog.
