Welcome at my little corner!!!
Hello!
Here you can find my ramblings about
my daily life with 6 children (some with special needs) and their father, international
and national politics and my health.

I'm very tired.
I did a lot this morning, but it never tires me out like now.
I wanted to adopt some cuties and make some a lovely place on the site, but I'm just too tired to reaqd all the terms or play around with my graphs.
Maybe later.

The day started with looking at the news on TV.
They celebrate their 50st anniversary.
When I hear the woman read the news I felt very moved and a strange feeling of feeling at home came over me.
I used to watch the news with my dad, and when I was older we both visited my grandmother before we went home.
There too we watched the news together.
It's interesting to realise how deep some emotions are carved into my memories.
I had to fold a lot of laundry and did so while watching TV.
The whole day was a kind of overvieuw over 50 years of news.
As I'm become 50 on the 27th, it means also an overview over what happend in the world during my lifetime.
Jim got a call from work, which I hate when he has a day off.
After that he had to go to work.
So that was his day off.
Lars and Stef had to go to the dentist.
lars went without problems, although he had something serious to be fixed.
Some time ago he had an accident and his molar broke.
the dentist fixed it, but last week the part came off again.
Lars came back with everything fixed.
Then it was Stef's turn.
He got under the shower rather late, so I told him to hurry up.
Yea.......
He came downstairs after I'd called him about 5 times, and then told me without moving one muscle in his face: "I have no bycicle."
Which means: "I'm not going unless you force me."
Thami got my bycicle from the shed... so Stef went.
The dentist is nearby.
When Thami and I looked outside, Stef was gone, but the bycicle was still there.
After a while he came back and told that part of the dental work was fixed and the rest would be done next week.
Well, we'll see on the bills if he has gone or not.
He's almost 20 now...
Well, it gave me the right words to write the Professor of psychiatry to consider an adolescent clinic. The idea ripened in my head enough to put all the right reasons in a few sentences.
I was finished and not a minute later a former client called.
She always does after new year.
It was great to hear she's doing so well.
One of the cinemas has a special offer, so this evening Jim is with 3 boys to Harry Potter.
The girls can go to the Dutch one tomorrow morning.
I had time to sort out some music, but the rest of the plans have to wait for another time.
When they all came back they decided the movie was too much for the girls.
Well, we'll see what those ladies have to say about that. LOL!

The children were rather quiet again. Like Christmass and the New Year had carried a lot of stress with them.
They're used to this daily rhythm now, so it'll be no fun when school starts next week again.
It's dreary and rainy here, and cold.
But I've put the heating up, the kids are behaving,
the laundry hanging,
and when doing groceries they found 10 euro on the street with no name on it.
So that's a nice gift. LOL!
I also got a letter from the psychiatrist of the oldest, signed by her supervisor too.
Dated december 12th.
I mailed her before to tell her that I was very disturbed by the way she was dialing with the diagnostic process.
Ofcourse she wanted a talk.
Well, she's had that already,
So they're getting a reply on paper. I know that the changes there I'm proposing are the right ones.
They pretend to follow the same protocol as at the department for younger people, but they don't.
Or this psychiatrist doesn't. Meaning we're dealing with failing supervision.
Well, we'll see.
Tomorrow our news on TV excists 50 years.
Each hour another former newsreader will present the news.
I'm looking forward to it.

So Jim went to town yesterday evening and when he was there, they phoned him that the bycicles were back, including the skateboards.
They were all taped together, so it was a joke from someone.
Ofcourse Jim was irritated.
When I woke up this morning he was to his work and Stef had already left to his friends.
Good that I cut his hair yesterday-evening.
Did quite a lot, because the kids were rather quiet.
In the afternoon I was putting the dates in the new agenda, when some pages came out.
So that one needs to be replaced.
Then it turned out the girls couldn't find the practice chanters.
I was afraid I might have put it at the attick with some other things to make room for the christmasdecoration.
Noop.
They weren't there.
Downstairs: I couldn't find them.
The suddenly it popped in my mind that...
Yep, there they were. Phew!!!

I thought we were having a good start of the year.
Well, the year is running.
This evening Lars went with a friend skateboarding in the hall.
Nothing special, as they do it about every night during the holidays.
But this time they went to wish two families nearby a happy new year.
Just popping in, wishing and leaving.
Well, they stupid idiots didn't lock their bycicles and kept the skateboards on them.
So now their bycicles are stolen and the skateboards.
Jim just left to fetch them.
We have no car, so he has to put in a real effort.
I guess they didn't dare to call the other parents, or they weren't at home.
So that leaves no other option than spending my birthdaymoney on a new bycicle for him.
