Usually I don't interfere in situations in the CGC but this time I do, because someone is making a mistake and I know for sure she is, by the facts I have now.
I don't want to arouse emotions, but only want to stop people blaming others on the only ground that they have had problems with the person in the past.
And I want to stop people thinking someone has committed a crime, only because someone has been telling that to them.

In the past we've seen often enough that people have been blaming others, even when someone else already had been arrested by the police for that crime.
Hear-say is not enough proof to think bad of others. It never should be. The person who is accussing might be your best friend and stay that way, but you should be aware that everyone can make a mistake, especially when bitter emotions jump in.

I have had no problems in the past with the two people involved. No reason to disrespect them.
I feel a mistake has been made under the wrong assumptions
and as the person isn't able to rectify her accussation for a reason I don't know, I think it's only honest on my part to provide the information I have.
In the way it is always done in my country, under my law that protects people from false accusations and protects people from making themselves look strange because of false accussations. That is: without mentioning names, and without giving other personal data.

If you want to know more, you can mail me.
Although I have to say that the people directly involved have been provided with the information given below.

Please don't make the mistake for blaming me of bringing this under your attention.
If you have information in this case, either pro or contra, that is based on clear facts and clear facts alone, let me know.
Otherwise take this as a bit of additional knowledge.
I don't want to offend people, or stirr in a matter at all.

The last week a site has been hacked and a front page of another site has been put on that domain.
I recognised this from a few years back, when the reunion site of our school was hacked and the front page of another site had been put in. Just the same way as this time.
A few years ago my photo-site of the children was hacked too and erased. I caught the happening almost at the minute so that time no front page was inserted.

This time the name of someone I knew in a positive way was mentioned, and even more interesting, I knew this person wasn't online at all.

Well, who can blame me to believe in the positive site of people and not to drop my friends like a stone when someone else blames them without factual proof?

There are 2 URLS of official sites of hackers where they proudly claimed they had hacked the site.

Ofcourse I mailed the webmaster of the hacked site and her friend (who had contacted me), and informed them.

Ofcourse I expected a rectification.
Everyone can make a mistake and blaming someone by mistakes is surely something to be corrected. Wether you like that person or not.

Up till now nothing has happened and I didn't even get a thank-you for solving (part of) the matter.

On the hacked site I now find a message where the name of the person they blame is mentioned.

I'm amazed by this, but since then I've learned that in other countries people can blame others and can throw their complete name and everything else on internet.
In my country it's forbiddden to blame a person without having full evidence, and when you have evidence one should report it to the authorities, otherwise it's obstruction of law.
Even when one expects the police won't follow up on it.
Even when someone is found to be guilty by a judge (the only one to decide if someone is guilty) the papers are only allowed to display the initials.
We want to give people the chance to learn and to change for the better.

The texts of two pages of a site of http://www.whois.net/ are copied as proof of the hacking on the hacked domain.
This suggests that the domain is bought twice. Once by the person who is accusing someone else, and once by the person that is accused of hacking.
Which also implied that the domain had been sold twice, which seems very odd.
But it's also the way hackers work to finish their job in getting people aroused.
Just copy a form and use the name. Interesting is that the number of the town involved isn't the same as the number of the town she lives now. A mistake easily verified on internet when you know the adress the person lives now.
Which I do.
And I know the adress I have is a true one for sure as it is officially verified.

Doesn't it seem strange that someone known in the graphics community hacks the site of someone else, puts her own front page in, linking to a site that hasn't been updated fully, and leaves her traces all over the place, including a wrong zipnumber?
Doesn't it seem strange that someone who isn't online because she can hardly sit on a chair, and who has far more important matters to attend to, puts her friendship on the block, just to bother someone who knows better than not to back up her site, and who has full proof she has bought the domain?

Well, it's up to you to decide what you want to think about this matter.
Like I said, I want to act upon facts and not upon hear-say.

As matters are not solved, I have reported this matter to the proper authorities.
I need to know if I'm a friend of a criminal or a friend of someone who is wrongly accussed.
